Dayal Padmanabhan takes on the KFCC elections this year

Dayal Padmnabhan, who is an active producer-director, has pointed out flaws in the elections at the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce this year. He contests that the appointment of Anuup Sara Govindu as a member and says it breaks the rules. In his complaint letter to the District Registrar of Societies, Bengaluru, Dayal writes, "I would like to bring it to your kind knowledge that I, Dayalan Padmanabhan contested in the KFCC election held on 29 - 06 - 2019 for the post of Producer - Executive Committee member.I secured a total vote of 197 and stood at the 13th position. As per the KFCC bylaw, the top 12 positions were announced as the members of the Producer - Executive Committee by the Election officer.
The Election officer announced that Mr. Anup Gowda G, who happens to be the son of Mr. Sara Govind secured the 12th position in the aforesaid committee. It has come to my knowledge that Mr. Anup Gowda fails to meet the eligibility to even contest in the elections as per the bylaws of KFCC. In spite of the shortcoming, his election nomination was accepted and he was allowed for the voting process which accounts to be illegal."
