Dr Vishnu National Award conferred to Ramesh Aravind

Actor-director Ramesh Aravind was awarded the Dr Vishnu National Award on Wednesday at Ravindra Kalakshetra in the city. The event which is a three-day long theatre festival from September 18 to 20 on the occasion of Dr Vishnuvardhan's birthday was organised by Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi. The award was conferred to Ramesh by veteran director T S Nagabharana, reported an entertainment daily.
Directors S Narayan, V Nagendra Prasad, Ravi Srivatsa, VSS president Veerakaputra Srinivas, actor Mandya Ramesh and many other big names were present at the felicitation.
