Former minister Goolihatti Shekhar turns producer

Former minister Goolihatti Shekhar, who hit the headlines for tearing off his shirt in the assembly, is all set to produce Goolihatti-2 movie, which is a sequel to Goolihatti. The project which will be directed by Shashank Raj is said to be based on naxalites.
Goolihatti Shekhar said, “I had visited several naxal-hit places when I was a minister. Based on my experiences, Shashank Raj has decided to make a movie which I will produce.” There were speculations that Goolihatti is based on his life, but the former minister has denied any connection between his life and the movie.
Meanwhile, the shoot of the film is completed. The movie has Appu Venkatesh, Pavan, Mamatha Rahuth, Tejaswini, Raghavendra and Mahesh in the lead roles. Shree Manju has scored music and Naveen Surya is the cinematographer.
