'Guru Shishyaru' to begin shooting from January 28th, Dattanna to join the cast

According to online reports, actor Sharan's upcoming film 'Guru Shishyaru' is set to begin to production from the 28th of January, 2021. Bankrolled by Sharan's own production house Laddu Cinemas, the film is being directed by Jadeesha K Hampi and fellow filmmaker Tharun Kishore Sudhir has come on board as the co-producer and the creative head of the project.
Reportedly, senior actor Dattanna will join the film's principal cast and contribute to the comedy-drama in his own unique capacity.'Guru Shishyaru's story is set in the year 1995 with a sports backdrop wherein Sharan's character of a PT Master becomes conflicted with his students to make for an engaging comedy film. The title of the film has been borrowed from the 1981 classic starring Dr. Vishnvardhan and produced by Dwarakish.
The same reports suggests that the first schedule of 'Guru Shishyaru' will take place in Bengaluru for a period of six days. Ajaneesh B. Loknath comes in as the film's music composer while Sudhakar Shetty handles the cinematography duties. The rest of the film's cast is yet to be revealed.
