Monday morning saw the shocking news of the
death of actress and former Bigg Boss Kannada contestant Jayashree Ramaiah. The actress, who has starred in movies like Uppu Huli Khara and Kannada Gothilla, was found hanging in a Bengaluru. The actress, who had attempted suicide in 2020 too, was suffering from depression and had even taken to her social media pages to share her mental agony.
The news of her death has shocked those who were known to her and have worked with her. Among those who expressed their shock and sadness was RJ and filmmaker

Jayashree through her troubled phase, expressed his shock when he said, "It is something that no one should go through. She was suffering a lot and it was seen in her attempt to suicide last year as well. We were all hopeful that she would spring back to her usual self when she was getting better in the past few months, where she had even expressed her desire to get back to dancing and acting. This news of her death is shocking and I am yet to come to terms with it."
Jayashree, who was seen in Bigg Boss Kannada, was known for her outspoken demeanour and had also expressed her opinion on how she wasn't getting work and that her personal life was troubling her lot and had spoken about the same when she had come live on her social media page to tell people that she wasn't in the best of mental health. Among those who had reached out to her and helped her during her last attempt to suicide was Bigg Boss Kannada host and actor Kichcha Sudeep.
