Madan and Mayur Patel to contest elections

The father-son duo with a filmy background, Madan and Mayur Patel will be seen contesting the forthcoming assembly elections. While Madan Patel will be contesting from the T Narasipura constituency, Mayur will stand for Mahavedapura constituency from BSR Congress.
Madan has been in politics for a decade now with his first outing being with the Bharatiya Janatha Party where he was the chief of the cultural cell while Mayur has got into politics recently.
Madan had later joined BS Yediyurappa’s newly floated Karnataka Janatha Party but left it following indifferences with other party men, he joined BSR Congress last month. This is the first time that Madan is contesting the elections and hopes to win the elections in his maiden attempt.
Apart from the elections, Mayur is busy with his films too. He will be directing the Hindi version of Yaarivaanu, the shoot of which will start from June. Apart from Ravi Chethan, the film will also have some big names from Bollywood.
