Sandalwood stars congratulate Ambareesh

Congratulatory messages have been pouring in for veteran actor Ambareesh, who won in the State Elections from Mandya constituency on congress ticket. Ambareesh, who is also former Union Home Minister trounced JD(s) candidate to emerge victorious. Ambareesh will be entering Karnataka Assembly Elections for the first time.
Though Ambareesh had to face hurdles from within party members, the actor who lost last assembly elections in the year 2008 from Srirangapatna has finally managed to hit bull’s eye.And several stars who campaigned for the actor has been wishing him all success for his new job as a politician.
Actor Srinagara Kitty on his social-networking webpage wrote, “Namma nechhina REBEL STAR ambarish won in the elections ,, mata needi preethi torisida ella mandyada matadaararige haagu preethi torida kannada kulakotigooo dhanyavaadagalu” Actor Darshan, who campaigned for Ambareesh in Mandya said, “Congrats to our Rebel Star Dr Ambareesh(appaji) Won in Mandya Constituencies love u lot appaji love u all.” Darshan will be seen with Ambareesh in the upcoming movie Bul Bul, which will release this Friday. The movie is the remake of Telugu movie Darling.
Sumalatha Ambareesh indulged in extensive campaigning to ensure her husband wins in this elections. Actress Ramya who did not campaign for Ambareesh owing to time constraint has tweeted, “Just wished Suma aunty & Ambareesh uncle! what a victory” Ambareesh is also president of Cine Artists President Association
