It's been raining announcements and updates on Sharan's birthday yesterday as the actor had a slew of updates to share with his fans on his upcoming films.
Sharan made a special announcement of doing a film with director Aravind Kuplikar, whose debut film 'Puksatte Lifeu' won the hearts of the audience and critics' appreciation.

This dark comedy will be having Sharan playing the role of a electrician in this fictional story.
The film will have a real-life incident which took place in Bagalkot.
Amrutha Iyengar is paired opposite Sharan in the film. The other cast includes Achyuth Kumar and Rangayana Raghu, among others. Arjun Janya and Advaita Gurumurthy will be handling the music and cinematography respectively. The film will commence shooting from February 20th.
Director Tharun Sudhir is producing this film who has a close bond with actor Sharan and has always associated in Sharan films as creative director and in 'Guru Shishyaru', Tharun Sudhir turned co-producer for Sharan.

Sharan next release will be the horror comedy 'Choo Mantar' by director Navaneeth. The makers released a teaser too and the film is expected to be released in April. Sharan's 'Avatara Purusha 2' which was supposed to release in October but there is no word on the progress of the film because of financial hurdles also the director Suni is busy with Vinay Rajkumar's film. So there is no word on when the sequel can be expected.
