Umesh Reddy shoot completed

The talkie portion of the upcoming movie Umesh Reddy, is completed. The movie has Ravi Kale and Roopika in the lead roles and is directed by Malavalli Saikrishna, who is making a debut in Sandalwood.
The film, which is based on the life of the psychopath killer and rapist Umesh Reddy, is extensively shot in Chitradurga and Bangalore. Ravi Kale is playing the role of Umesh Reddy. Speaking to TOI, actress Roopika says, “The film has entered the pre-production stage and we will announce the release date within a month.It was tough to shoot in Chitradruga district as it was very hot. I had to take a lot of fluids to beat the heat.”
The film also has Shobha Raghavendra, Bullet Prakash and Muralimohan in significant roles. The film is produced by Adithya Ramesh and has music composed by Sadhu Kokila.
