For the unversed, The dispute arose after Deepu alleged that Anaswara had neglected her promotional commitments for the film, despite his repeated requests.
However, Anaswara refuted the claim via a social media post, stating that she was fully committed to the project and had even taken the initiative to ensure its completion despite financial hurdles. She further accused Deepu of discouraging her from attending the shoot until the producer cleared her remuneration.
The ‘Rekhachithram’ actor’s note read, “First and foremost, I want to address his claim that I only attended the shoot after ensuring my payment was settled. During the shoot, when a payment issue arose, the producer did not transfer the money, and Deepu instructed me not to leave my room until it was resolved. Despite this, I prioritized completing the shoot instead of halting it. However, his statement that I only participated after ‘counting the money’ deeply hurt me—both professionally and emotionally.”
Anaswara further said she had shared ‘Mr and Mrs Bachelor’s character posters and traile on her Instagram handle and had also shared several other promotional posts for the movie. She said, “Two days before the supposed release, we contacted them and were informed that the release had been postponed due to certain unresolved issues. We only learned about this when we reached out to them. Since then, I have never been officially informed about when the film is actually set to release.”
Anaswara concluded by saying, “Despite all this, if the team informs me in advance, I am still willing to participate in the film’s promotions.”
