Big B praises Pushkar Shrotri's work

When you receive praise from someone you have idolised all your life, you sense that feeling of having achieved something big.
Something similar happened to actor Pushkar Shrotri at a recent function that was organised to celebrate the completion of 50 years of actor Sachin Pilgaonkar in the Indian film industry. Pushkar, who was the emcee at the event, was in for a pleasant shock when Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan told him that he had watched him in a few films and liked his comic timing.Pushkar said, "I was at loss of words when Amitji said those golden words to me in his splendid baritone and handed over the mic to me."
Pushkar who was overwhelmed by the praise later offered to buy the mic that Big B had passed over to him. "Unfortunately I could not get the mic," added Pushkar.
