Marathi cinema's veteran stars Ashok Saraf and Vandana Gupte to come together on the silver screen after many years. The movie, directed by Lokesh Gupte, is described as a blend of humour, emotion, and charm, making it a must-watch for Marathi cinema enthusiasts.
Sharing his thoughts, veteran actor Ashok Saraf said, “After a long time, I’ve received such a powerful role, something I’ve been waiting for. The story resonates with today’s times, and Lokesh Gupte has done a wonderful job choosing and crafting the subject. During the shoot, I was impressed by his deep understanding of cinema and his attention to detail. Working with Vandana Gupte again has been delightful—our give-and-take on screen has brought depth to our characters. As always, I have given my all to this role, and I’m confident the audience will enjoy the film as much as we did while making it."
Saraf also expressed his pride in seeing Rahul Shantaram take up the responsibility of filmmaking. He shared, “I have known Rahul since he was a child. His father, Kiran Shantaram, has been a close friend, and my wife has been tying rakhi to him for 33 years. Rahul’s passion and commitment to this project have been inspiring, and I admire his vision for this film."
