Devendra Gaikwad agreed to change the release date of his debut directorial 'Chowk' to avoid a clash with two historical films 'Baloch' and 'Ravrambha' which are releasing May 5 and May 12 respectively.
In order to avoid competition among Marathi films, this film has set a great example in the Marathi film industry by pushing its release date.
This is a constructive step taken to ensure that all Marathi films get an audience.
Director Devendra Arun Gaikwad, producer Dilip Lalasaheb Patil and the entire team of 'Chowk' decided to push the release date of their film which will be released on May 19.
Speaking about the same, director, Devendra Gaikwad said, 'Our friends' films 'Baloch' and 'Ravrambha' are releasing in May. In order to get a good response to these films, the date of the 'Chowk' film has been changed from May 12 to May 19. So everyone should go and see this movie in theatres on May 19!'

Suresh Vishwakarma, Sanskriti Balgude, Akshay Tanksale, Shubhankar Ekbote, Sunil Abhyankar and Anjali Joglekar in pivotal roles.
