Manava Naik to play 'Soyarabai Mohite' in Dr Amol Kolhe's 'Shivpratap Garudzep'

Actor-director Manava Naik is all set to make her return to Marathi cinema with Dr Amol Kolhe's upcoming historical film 'Shivpratap Garudzep'.
In the film, Manava will be portraying the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's wife Soyrabai Mohite.
While speaking about her role, Manava, said "I consider myself very lucky that I got an opportunity to play an important role in a historical film 'Shivpratap Garudzep'.I am equally excited about this role. It was important for me to get to play the role of Soyrabai, who is very beautiful and charming. The audience will definitely like this role of mine. This role has given me the satisfaction of doing something different"
Soyarabai Bhosale was one of the eight wives of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Kingdom in western India. She was the mother of Shivaji Maharaj's second son, Rajaram Chhatrapati. She was the younger sister of Maratha army chief Hambirrao Mohite.
Kartik Rajaram Kendhe’s 'Shivpratap Garudzep' also stars Pratiksha Lonkar, Harak Amol Bharatiya, Shailesh Datar, Harish Dudhade, Pallavi Vaidya among others.
The film is slated to release on 5 October 2022.
