Sumitra gets lucky the seventh time

Director Sumitra Bhave simply could not believe her luck.
After her film 'Astu' bagged the Best Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress (Amruta Subhash) awards at the national platform, the director got emotional.
She said, ���I feel that the Marathi audience has reached a threshold of maturity as both Yellow and Astu deal with special and mature subjects. It���s a matter of pride for the Marathi manoos.���
'Astu' sees the unique pairing of Milind Soman and Irawati Harshe where senior actor Mohan Agashe plays an Alzheimer���s patient.The film made waves at various international festivals before it theatrical release.
