Miss Universe finalist does a lavani

Preparing to make her debut in Marathi cinema, beauty queen Manasi Moghe had to undergo Lavani training for the recently released classical number ‘Raya Mala Tumhavina Karmat Naay’ from her upcoming movie ‘Bugadi Mazi Sandli Ga’.
“I’ve undergone Kathak training but Lavani is a different ball game altogether. So I had taken a 15-day training to come to terms with this dance form,” explained the Miss Universe 2013 top-ten finalist Manasi, who is seen donning a traditional avatar for the song.
To complete this look, where she portrays a stage performer, Manasi had to sport the traditional Lugda, which in itself was a big task. “It was a challenge to dance in the heavy costumes, along with the bulky jewellery. But it all came out good in the end,” said the Indore-born lass.
Composed by Sachin-Dipeshh, the song is crooned by singer Bela Shende. The movie, which pairs Kashyap Parulekar opposite Manasi is expected to hit the theatres in February.
