Ajmal to play baddie in Racha

Ajmal Ameer, who played an important role in KV Anand’s ‘Rangam’ the dubbed version of Tamil film ‘Ko’, has been signed to act in a direct film in Telugu.
He appears as a baddie in ‘Racha’ which features Teja and Tamanna in key roles.
According to reports, the producers of ‘Racha’ were impressed by Ajmal’s performance in ‘Rangam’. Infact, the company was frantically hunting for a new face to act as a villain.On noticing Ajmal’s acting in ‘Rangam’, they immediately signed him for ‘Racha’.
In the mean time, ‘Racha’ unit has just returned from Sri Lanka after shooting for a love duet. It may be remembered that Tamanna was already admonished for participating in shoots in Sri Lanka. Kollywood has instructed all the artistes not to shoot in Sri Lanka because of the cruel attitude of Sri Lankan Government towards innocent Tamilian population.
