Ranjith for the periodic film titled 'Thangalaan', and the makers have confirmed the film's release date. 'Thangalaan' was earlier announced to release for Pongal 2024, and the film was said to be rescheduled to a new date due to extended post-production work.
As reported, 'Thangalaan' has now been released from Pongal, and the film is now rescheduled to release on January 26, 2024. 'Thangalaan' will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi languages, and it's going to be the biggest release of Chiyaan Vikram for sure.
Sivakarthikeyan starrer 'Ayalaan' and Aishwarya Rajinikanth's directorial 'Lal Salaam' will be the only Pongal releases as of now from Tamil, and both films are set to have a grand release.
Directed by Pa Ranjith, 'Thangalaan' features Chiyaan Vikram,
Malavika Mohanan,
Parvathy Thiruvothu,
Pasupathy, and Daniel Caltagirone, among others, in the main roles. The periodic drama is set between the 1870s and 1940s, and the film will explain the evolution of the KGF fields. GV Prakash Kumar is scoring the music, and it will be a classic film from the fresh duo.
