Kalidas Jayaram wraps first schedule of 'Nila Varum Velai'

Kalidas Jayaram is one of the promising actors in the up and coming. The actor has made his place in the hearts of people with his roles in 'Vikram', 'Paava Kathaigal', 'Natchathiram Nagargirathu' and so on. The actor signed up for his film 'Nila Varum Velai' with director A Hariharan. The movie stars Kayadu Lohar as the female lead and the movie went on floors last month.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday, actor Kalidas Jayaram announced that a schedule has been wrapped up for the film.The actor shared a photo of him with the film's director and it is likely to be shot in a forest. The film is said to be a period thriller set in the 1970s and the film will have elements that include supernatural and panaromal activities. 'Nila Varum Velai' is being simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu and while Tamil version has Kalidas Jayaram playing the lead, the Telugu version stars Sathyadev.
The rest of the movie's cast includes Prabhu, Radhika Sarathkumar in important roles in both Tamil and Telugu and the Tamil version in its supporting cast will have Vivek Prasanna and Deepak Paramesh wheres as the Telugu film will star Rahul Ramakrishna and Shatru in supporting roles.
The film's technical crew consists of cinematographer Mukesh Gnanesh and editor Bhuvan Srinivas. The movie's music is composed by Vivek - Mervin. On the work front, Kalidas Jayaram was last seen in the Tamil film 'Por' directed by Bejoy Nambiar that starred Arjun Das alongside in the lead role.
