Kamal Haasan and Vetri Maaran to team up for a film, confirms Sripriya

While it is known that actor Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram' and also has director Shankar's 'Indian 2' to resume, we had earlier reported that the star actor will be teaming up with acclaimed director Vetri Maaran for a film. Though an official announcement is yet to be made, actress Sripriya has confirmed Kamal Haasan working with Vetri Maaran.
When quizzed about the possibility of 'Papanasam 2', Sripriya said, "Only Kamal Haasan can do Papanasam sequel in Tamil. But he doesn't have time for the sequel amid his busy schedule. Kamal is already tied up the local body elections and 'Bigg Boss 5'. Apart from that he also has two projects, one is 'Vikram' and another film with director Vetri Maaran.
Anbu Chezhiyan's Gopuram Film is said to be producing Kamal Haasan's union with Vetri Maaran. The film might take some time to start rolling since both the stars are busy with their current films and have a film lined up.
