Mahendran joins Dhanush-Karthick Naren’s next project

Karthick Naren’s next project, tentatively titled #D43, starring Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan in lead roles, has another addition to its cast now. The makers have announced that Mahendran is the latest to join the movie. Mahendran had received appreciation from several quarters for his recent performance in Lokesh’s Vijay-starrer Master. Interestingly, Malavika was also part of Master.The Twitter handle of Sathya Jyothi Films, which is bankrolling the project, announced the same, along with a picture of Karthick and Mahendran posing together for a photo. The tweet read, “Welcoming the super talented@Actor_Mahendranon board for #D43.”

Karthick and Mahendran, too, took to their respective social media account to express happiness for working together. The former posted, “Hearty welcome@Actor_Mahendran na.”

The movie has GV Prakash scoring music for a Dhanush film after Vetri Maaran’s Asuran. Samuthirakani, Smruthi Venkat and Krishnakumar among others play pivotal roles in the film, the shooting of which commenced recently with an event attended by its cast and crew. The other day, Karthick had posted a photo clicked from the shooting location of Naragasooran in which he was seen along with some of its lead actors, Indrajith, Aathmika and Sundeep Kishan.
