Actor Mahesh, who made heads turn with his performance in award-winning film, Angadi Theru, is all set for the release of his next. Titled Yevaal, the film is said to be a romantic psychological thriller with elements of horror in it. Major portions of the film were shot on the outskirts of Pollachi, Puducherry, Peelamedu, Kuttikkanam and Palakkad.
Githeesh Karunakaran, director of the film, says, “This is the first time, a film based on the witchcraft concept has been made in the south Indian film industry.

Yevaal will create an impact among the audience as it has a lot of spine-chilling moments with all commercial ingredients. There is also an important action sequence in the film that will be one of the highlights.”
Mokksha, who has been part of a few Bengali and Telugu films, will be seen playing the female lead.
On his actors, Githeesh says, “Mahesh has performed really well and his characterisation will be something new for the audience. His look will be completely different when compared to his previous works. We completed shooting for the film and the post-production work is almost complete. An official announcement on the release date will be made soon.”
Gowri, Madhumitha and Arathi Krishna are also part of the film. Praveen Parameshwar, who represented India in the world competition for longest beard and won the second position, is playing a substantial role.
