Poonam Bajwa to join the cast of Aranmanai 2

Director Sundar C pulled off a casting coup of sorts by roping in Siddharth, Trisha and Hansika as the leads for his upcoming horror sequel, Aranmanai 2. Speculations were also rife that Samantha or Kajal Aggarwal would be cast as one of the leads. However, now we hear that, it is Poonam Bajwa who is the front-runner for the role.
A source close to the team confirms the news, saying, ���After signing on Siddharth, Trisha and Hansika, we are in talks with Poonam Bajwa, who will play an important role in the film.However, we cannot reveal any more details now.���
The source also dismissed the news of Samantha and Kajal Aggarwal being approached as baseless rumours. Interestingly, Trisha is already working on a film titled Bhogi with Poonam Bajwa, and now, if all goes well, she will again work with her in Aranmanai 2.���
