Prasanna, Laila plan 'Kanda Naal Mudhal' sequel

The 'Kanda Naal Mudhal' lead actors Prasanna, Laila and Karthik Kumar met after a long time along with the film's director V Priya, who had earlier assisted Mani Ratnam. The film that released in 2005, was we received by the audience. With the core team getting together after a long time, one of their discussions has apparently been about possibly doing a sequel to the film.
It would be interesting if 'Kanda Naal Mudhal 2' becomes a reality.This would mean that actress Laila would be making a comeback into the film industry after 12 years, since her last film was way back in 2006. She made a special appearance in Ajith starrer 'Thirupathi' last.



'Kanda Naal Mudhal' was about Ramya (Laila) and Krishna (Prasanna) end up catching each others throat whenever they happen to meet. Aravind (Krishna's Friend - Karthik Kumar) parents arrange his marriage with Ramya. Its a smooth story on how love blooms between Ramya and Krishna because of circumstances, and who ends up marrying Ramya - Aravind or Krishna?
