Sundar C to direct Nayanthara-starrer 'Mookuthi Amman 2'

Earlier in July, it was announced that actress Nayanthara will be playing the lead role in 'Mookuthi Amman 2', which will be produced by Vels Film International Limited and Rowdy Pictures together. Now, the latest is that the film will be directed by Sundar C.
Announcing the same, the production house wrote, "Welcoming The King 👑 of Commercial Entertainers, Director Sundar C🔥 to the Divine Fantasy World of MA-2 🔱 #MookuthiAmman2

The sequel of the film comes with the tagline 'The Rise of the Divine'.'Mookuthi Amman' starred RJ Balaji, Nayanthara, Moulee, Urvashi, and Smruthi Venkat, among others. While it has been confirmed that Nayanthara will be playing the lead role again, the rest of the cast and crew is yet to be announced.
