We had told you that Udhayaa will be sporting three looks in Utharavu Maharaja. The film, a psycho comedy thriller, has three female leads ' Manvitha, Neha Gossain and Misha Ghoshal. 'While Neha has acted in Bollywood films and one Telugu film, Manivtha's Kannada film Kendasampige was a huge success there. Misha is familiar to Tamil audiences as she has been part of films like Visaaranai and Raja Rani,' says Udhayaa, who adds that though there are three female leads, there will be no duets, no songs in the film.
Actor
Prabhu will be seen as the principal supporting character. 'Though he has been acting in many films, this role will be very unique,' says Udhayaa.
Udhayaa, who is a committee member in the Nadigar Sangam, has also roped in his actors association counterparts for the film. While actor
Nasser will be playing a crucial role, actresses Kovai Sarala and Kutty Padmini will also be in the film. 'Kutty Padmini is actually returning to the big screen after almost 20 years,' he informs. In addition to these actors, MS Bhaskar and Mano Bala too are part of the cast.
Directed by debutant Asif Qureshi, the film has another newcomer,
Naren as its composer. 'We have shot 70% of the film and the final schedule will be shot in Kodaikanal,' signs off the Thalaivaa actor.
