Accalimed director
Vasanthabalan, known for his movies like 'Veyil', 'Angadi Theru', and 'Kaaviya Thalaivan', is working with
GV Prakash for for his next film titled 'Jail'. The film has 'Enga Veettu Mappillai' fame
Abarnathi playing the female lead in the film. Looks like both GV Prakash and Abarnati seem to have impressed the director with their performances in the film.
In recent interview, Vasanthabalan expressed his happiness on GV Prakash's growth in the insdustry from a music composer to an actor.
The young composer turned actor made his debut as a music director in Vasanthabalan's 'Veyil' in 2005.
Talking about GV Prakash's performance in Jail, Vasanthabalan said, "Among all his film, GV Prakash's performance in 'Jail' will be very much noticed. He has played a character called Karuna and delivered a high performance understanding the character. You will see a huge difference in his performance from his previous films."
Shedding some light on the the film heroine, he said "I feel Tamil cinema is going to get another talented performer like Anjali. Abarnathi has played the role of a woman who sells biriyani in the film. Pichutta! Kizhichutta! Just as how Anjali put in all her effort in 'Angadi Theru', Abarnati has done the same in this film. I am confident Abarnati will reach great heights after this film."
