Yogi Babu to play the lead in Sam Anton’s hostage comedy

Yogi Babu, who was last seen wooing Nayanthara in Kolamaavu Kokila, is now turning a hero. The actor was one of the reasons for the film’s song,Kalyana Vayasu, turning into a viral hit. Now,the top comedian will be playing the lead in an upcoming comedy directed by Sam Anton of Darling fame.
Says the director, “This film will be a full-on comedy like Darling and I had written it quite some time back with Yogi Babu in mind.Recently, we discussed this script and he has agreed to act in this project.”
Yogi Babu will be playing a private security guard in the film,which will be set in Chennai.A dog will also play a crucial part in it.
“There arises a hostage situation and how this security guard rescues everyone is the one line plot,” reveals Sam Anton,whose film with Atharvaa, 100, is now in the final stages of post-production. The actor will also have a romantic interest in the film and talks are on with a few heroines,he adds. The rest of the cast is also being finalised.
