Bhavatharini takes over from Karthik Raja

The first official fan club of Ilaiyaraaja, which is to be launched on April 5 at Madurai, will be helmed by his daughter Bhavatharini.
Earlier, Ilaiyaraaja���s elder son Karthik Raja had been announced as the chairperson of the fan club. However, sources now say that as Karthik Raja has been busy and cannot devote adequate time for the affairs of this club, his younger sister Bhavatharini has been entrusted with the responsibility.
The function at Madurai is to be attended by Ilaiyaraaja, his sons Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja and his daughter Bhavatharini as well.
