Sreenu Vaitla invested all his savings

Initially, after shooting for a month, Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy, the producer of Sreenu Vaitla’s Dhee, ran into financial troubles and the shoot had to be stalled subsequently.
It was a do or die situation for Sreenu since his earlier film (at that time) Andarivadu was a flop and his next film Dhee was stalled. But his confidence on the script drove him to invest all his savings in the film and takeover as producer too.The film finally released and did very well at the box office and Sreenu’s gamble paid off.
