66th Filmfare Awards South 2019: Here are the Nominations for the Best Talent in Telugu Cinema

Times have certainly changed in Telugu cinema when it comes to content-driven subjects, screenplay-based narrations and the exploration of different genres. Modern filmmakers are not hesitating to try something new on the silver screen regardless of the customary commercial ingredients. Besides the stories and technical stuff, the casting has also touched new levels with the import of some talented actors from neighbouring film industries.
While southern cinema is gradually making its way into mainstream Bollywood, 2018 has been a remarkable year for Tollywood with a line-up of path-breaking and national award-winning films like Mahanati, Awe, Rangasthalam, C/O Kancharapalem and many more.
Meanwhile, the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards, Filmfare Awards South is back to Chennai after three years with its 66th edition. Popularly known as the Oscars of regional cinema, the coveted trophies are presented to honour both the artistic and technical excellence of professionals in the South Indian film industry. The 66th Filmfare Awards South 2019 will be taking place on the 21st of December 2019 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai.
