"Getting the association of Sudhakar Reddy means we are giving a hit movie". 'Captain' will give you a unique experience in theatres - Actor Arya at the pre-release event, Hyderabad

Arya's latest film 'Captain' in which he is playing the protagonist also stars Aishwarya Lakshmi, Simran, Harish Uttaman, Kavya Shetty, Gokul Nath and others playing pivotal roles in the film.
Directed by Shakti Soundar Rajan, the film is co-Produced by Arya himself under his banner ‘The Snow People’ along with ‘Think Studios’. The movie will be released in Telugu on September 8th by Shreshth Movies owned by actor Nithiin’s father, popular producer & distributor Sudhakar Reddy.On this occasion, a pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Speaking at the event, Hero Arya said, "Varudu is my first film in Telugu. I acted with Allu Arjun in it. All the dialogues in the movie were in proper Telugu. I struggled to say them in front of the camera. As an actor, I learned a lot from that film. Formed a good friendship with Allu Arjun from then on. Coming to movies...if we don't try a new kind of film, we’ll be limited to certain section of the audience. I don't want to be that.
It doesn't matter if the film fails, but I want to try and do different films. These days, audiences are also willing to watch such new thought films. 'Captain' is definetely a different film. Sudhakar Reddy is releasing it in Telugu. My wife Sayesha got very excited when she told me this. She said,
"I am so happy. It's blockbuster', she said. Thanks to Sudhakar Reddy for releasing our movie in Telugu. Hope the success of 'Vikram' continues with this movie.

Sudhakar Reddy is a very positive person. Being associated with him means, this movie is already a hit. Ramajogaiah Shastri has written wonderful lyrics to the songs. Sometimes Telugu songs sound better than Tamil songs. Rocky (Rakendu Mouli) wrote dialogues in Telugu. He also wrote the dialogues of my previous film 'Sarpatta'. I liked it very much. So, I asked him to write for this film too.
I liked the output of 'Captain'. It is a very special film for me. Before this movie, I did a movie called 'Teddy' with Shakti Soundar Rajan. He did it very well, so I did this with him.
Imman sir gave superb music in the film. Shakti and Imman sir's combination has been a super hit lately. This movie also has a wonderful background score.
Aishwarya Lakshmi is a very talented actress. She acted very well in this. Simran is a childhood crush, not only to me... but our director and cameraman all took selfies after the first shot with her. When she came to shoot... It was like a fanboy moment. 'Captain' gives a different experience to the audience. The length of the movie is less than two hours. Watch it in theatres on September 8.
