Kartikeya Gummakonda to team up with makers of ''Uppena''

Actor Kartikeya Gummakonda’s next project, which story, screenplay and dialogues are written by renowned filmmaker Sukumar. The director has not been finalized yet. The project will be bankrolled by Sukumar under his banner Sukumar Writings, which earlier produced two big hits Kumari 21F (2015) and Uppena (2021).
Sukumar is said to have been keen on getting associated with the ''Chaavu Kaburu Challaga'' actor, who has all the characteristics of a commercial hero and that he is glad to do a project with him.Sources say the moment Sukumar saw the trailer of ''Chaavu Kaburu Challaga'', he decided to work with this talented actor. The untitled film will go on floors from November 2021, and an official announcement regarding the director and other cast & crew soon will be made in the coming months.

Meanwhile, Kartikeya is awaiting the release of his upcoming film ''Chaavu Kaburu Challaga'', which is gearing up for release on March 19, 2021. Lavanya Tripathi has been roped in to play the female lead in this film, which will also have Aamani, Murali Sharma, Srikanth Iyyengar, Rajitha, Achanta Mahesh, Bhadram and Prabhu playing pivotal roles in it. The recently released trailer has raked up the expectations from the film even more. Produced by GA 2 pictures, the film had Jakes Bejoy composing the tunes with Karm Chawla handling the camera and G Satya editing it. Kartikeya is going through a rough phase in his career as his last couple of films failed to perform well at the box office. The actor has pinned all his hopes on this film which is being directed by debutant Pegallapati Koushik.
