However, in a tragic incident during one of its screenings, a 40-year-old man named Madhyahnappa died while watching the film at the Palace Cinema Theater in Rayadurgam, Anantapur district,
Andhra Pradesh.
As per a ABPlive report, Madhyahnappa, a fan of Allu Arjun, was watching 'Pushpa 2' when he suddenly became unwell and died. His family members confronted the theatre staff over their decision to keep the movie playing, resulting in a heated argument. Police had to step in to manage the situation and eventually halted the screening. An investigation has been launched, and a case has been registered regarding the incident.

Earlier, during the screening of the film another tragedy occurred. During the film's premiere on December 4, a 35-year-old woman died and her 13-year-old son was severely injured in a stampede at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The chaos erupted as fans rushed to see Allu Arjun who made an unexpected appearance at the theatres, leading to a suffocation incident that left her son hospitalized. The police have since registered cases against Allu Arjun and the theatre management for their roles in these incidents.
In response to the earlier tragedy, Allu Arjun pledged to support the family of the deceased woman with a donation of Rs 25 lakhs and offered to cover medical expenses for her son.
