Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa roped in for Nandamuri Kalyanram's next?

Nandamuri Kalyanram is all set to join hands with debutant Venu Mallidi for a socio-fantasy thriller titled ‘Thuglak’. Kalyanram himself is producing the film under his NTR Arts banner.
As the pre-production works are coming to an end, the makers of the movie are working on the cast of the film and buzz in the industry is that ‘Sarrainodu’ actresses Rakul Preet Singh and Catherine Tresa have reportedly been roped in for this social fantasy entertainer since the makers wanted to cast actresses who haven’t worked with Kalyanram in the past.
Rakul Preet Singh, who has had a successful run since her debut, has become one of the top actresses in Tollywood. Catherine Tresa is also one of the busiest actresses in Tollywood today.
The regular shooting of the movie will begin sometime in May once the prep work is done. Set in the backdrop of 13 century, the film will have the actor in a never-seen-before avatar.
Meanwhile, Rakul will be sharing screen space with Akkineni Nagarjuna in the sequel to ‘Manmadhudu’ to be directed by Rahul Ravindran.
