Ram Charan starrer 'Peddi' key schedule wrapped at Moula Ali Station

Ram Charan's upcoming film, 'Peddi', is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious projects in recent Telugu cinema. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, who is known for 'Uppena', the film is currently in the production phase.
As per the latest update regarding the film's production, a report by 123Telugu suggests that the team wrapped up an important shooting schedule at Moula Ali railway station in Hyderabad. These scenes, featuring seasoned actors Jagapathi Babu and Satya, are said to be pivotal to the storyline. The production team is speculated to announce details about the next schedule soon.
'Peddi' is described as a rural sports action drama, with Ram Charan donning a rugged, intense look that has already caught the attention of fans. The story is set in a rustic village backdrop and centers around native sports like cricket and wrestling, promising high-energy sequences. The film's first look and teaser, released on the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami, showcased Charan in a raw avatar, swinging a bat and making a powerful statement about fighting for identity and survival.

The first look and teaser have drawn comparisons to Ram Charan’s performance in 'Rangasthalam' and the earthy tone of films like 'Pushpa'. Charan's appearance, long hair, thick beard, nose ring has been praised for its authenticity and mass appeal.
Bollywood star Janhvi Kapoor takes the lead female role, marking her second Telugu outing after 'Devara' co-starring with Jr NTR. The film also includes Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, 'Mirzapur’s Divyenndu Sharma, and veteran Jagapathi Babu, alongside Janhvi Kapoor.

The music of the film is composed by AR Rahman.
The movie is set to release on March 27th, 2025, and will be dubbed in multiple Indian languages for a pan-India release.
