Bollywood veteran Sunny Deol is gearing up for the release of his action-packed thriller 'Jaat', directed by Gopichand Malineni, which is set to hit theatres on April 10, 2025. Recently Rebel Star Prabhas met the 'Gadar' actor at the sets of his upcoming film.
While speaking with Pinkvilla, the actor addressed speculations about his involvement in Prabhas’ upcoming period drama 'Fauji'. While interacting with fans, Sunny Deol humorously dismissed the rumors, stating that he prefers to announce projects only when the time is right.
His quote reads, "See, if I am doing something, I will announce it when the time is right. If I’m not doing something, then there’s nothing I can do about it. People say various things about me and create buzz like I’m doing this or that."

The speculations about Sunny Deol's potential collaboration with Prabhas intensified after a recent photo surfaced of the two actors posing together on the sets of 'Jaat' which was recently shared by director Gopichand Malineni. Speaking of 'Jaat', the film revolves around a man who arrives in a coastal village terrorized by a ruthless criminal named Ranatunga. Sunny Deol plays the lead role of a fearless hero who rises to challenge tyranny and protect the oppressed villagers.
The movie features an ensemble cast including Randeep Hooda as the antagonist, Regina Cassandra, Saiyami Kher, Zarina Wahab, and Bandhavi Sridhar in pivotal roles, with action sequences choreographed by Anal Arasu and music composed by Thaman S.

Prabhas upcoming work
Prabhas is working on 'The Raja Saab, a horror-romantic drama directed by Maruthi. Originally scheduled for April 10, 2025, its release has been postponed due to pending post-production work.
Prabhas is also busy with multiple projects, including 'Fauji', directed by Hanu Raghavapudi.
