The Birth of Vennela: Ahead of the film's release, makers unveil first 4 minutes of 'Virata Parvam'

Ahead of its theatrical release, the makers of 'Virata Parvam' have released the birth video of the film’s lead Sai Pallavi.
The four-minute footage shows a gunfight between police and Naxalites while Easwari Rao is having labour pains and is being carried to a hospital by Sai Chand and others. Nivetha Pethuraj, who essays a Naxal rebel comes to the rescue of Easwari Rao, who gives birth to Vennela played by Sai Pallavi.Nivetha said she is a doctor by profession and assists her in the birth of Vennela. Before she is shot dead by the police, she names the baby as Vennela. The scene gives a glimpse of a unique treat that lies ahead for the viewers.

Rana Daggubati thanked Nivetha Pethuraj for playing a crucial role in the movie. He took his Twitter and wrote, ''Dear @Nivetha_Tweets thank you so much for being a part of our epic you were awesome #Virataparvam !! #TheBirthofVennela.''

Helmed by Venu Udugula, 'Virata Parvam' also stars Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra and Zarina Wahab in crucial roles. The trailer of the period action drama revealed Sai Pallavi as Vennela, who becomes a Naxalite for her love life. The technical crew includes Dani Sanchez-Lopez and Divakar Mani as the Directors of Photography, Nagendra as the art director and A Sreekar Prasad as the editor. Produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas and presented by Suresh Babu of Suresh Productions, the film is scheduled to release on June 17.
