Raja Ravindra was arrested by Banjara Hills police late on Saturday night for driving his vehicle in an inebriated condition.
Police caught him as part of their usual anti-alcohol check up during weekends.
Reportedly, he evaded cops from doing breath analyser test at first, but cops didn't heed to his request. The alcohol content of the actor is measured at 113.
The normal permissible limit of alcohol in blood is 30 mg per 100 ml of blood.
He was alone in the car during the test. He was taken into custody immediately and his
Skoda car (AP 20 AP 1111) was seized.
Ravindra will be produced in the court on Tuesday. He could be subjected for a penalty of Rs 2000 or can be put behind the bars for six months or may be both if he was caught for second or third time for drunken driving.
