Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie, ‘Family Star,’ alongside Mrunal Thakur, is generating excitement as fans eagerly anticipate witnessing their on-screen chemistry. Recently, in a heartwarming gesture, Vijay was seen celebrating the film's director Parasuram Petla's birthday, on December 25.
The production house shared pictures and wrote, “Team #FamilyStar celebrates the Captain of the Ship @ParasuramPetla birthday; He’s going to bring lots of entertainment to your screens soon.”

What adds to Vijay's sweet gesture, is that he had his father and mother attend this birthday function, and they clicked pictures together.

‘Family Star’ marks the second collaboration between Parasuram and Vijay Deverakonda, the first being ‘Geetha Govindam’ in 2018, alongside Rashmika Mandanna. The movie also features Divyansha Kaushik and Ajay Ghosh in significant roles. It is an action thriller showcasing Vijay in a unique style and appearance.

On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda has a project with Gowtam Tinnanuri, tentatively titled VD12, where he is expected to play the role of a policeman. The music director Anirudh Ravichander is set to collaborate with them on this movie.
