Vijay Deverakonda to work with Puri Jagannadh in his next film

Actor Vijay Deverakonda has bagged filmmaker Puri Jagannadh’s next directorial, which is currently in production. Charmme Kaur, co-founder of Puri Connects, took to Twitter to share the crazy news on Monday. She even posted a pic with Vijay along with Puri on the microblogging platform.

Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur have come together to produce the upcoming film to be directed by Puri himself. Puri and Vijay have been meeting for a few weeks to discuss this. A source close to the development told it’s an action drama with a strong emotional cord running through. The team is yet to reveal who will be cast as the female lead in the project, which is expected to go on the floors later this year.
Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma tweeted the combination of Puri and Vijay will be ‘’RED HOT’’, and it will burn the box office.

After his last film Dear Comrade bombed at the box office, Vijay Deverakonda has been associated with Kranthi Madhav directorial film. Reportedly, the film will have Rashi Khanna, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite as the leading ladies. KS Rama Rao is producing the yet-untitled film under his Creative Commercials banner.
