Vijay Deverakonda's 'Liger' glimpse clocks 20 million YouTube views

The first glimpse of Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated film, Liger, has achieved a unique feat. It has crossed more than 20 million views on YouTube, and fans are elated. The film features Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey in lead roles.
Released last week, the glimpse gave audiences a glimpse of Vijay in a diverse avatar. In the clip, Vijay smashing the goons up promises some adrenaline-pumping fight sequences that make it a full-on entertainer.The 53-second teaser is definitely well packed with all the elements that Vijay’s fans expected.
In Liger, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen playing a street guy in Mumbai who becomes an international kickboxing champion. The actor went under vigorous transformation to achieve the look of a kickboxer in the film. Directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film, which also stars Ronit Roy, Ali, Vishu Reddy, Makarand Deshpande, Getup Srinu, Abdul Quadir Amin and Mike Tyson, marks the first collaboration of Vijay and Puri.

Produced by Dharma Productions and Puri Connects, the film has music by Mani Sharma and Tanishk Bagchi. As for the technical crew, Vishnu Sharma has done the camera work, while Junaid Siddiqui has done the editing. 'Liger' is gearing up for a grand release on August 25, 2022.
