AR Rahman was recently in Rome to visit an event at a university there and while there, he happened to bump into one of his favourite music composers.
Excited at the prospect, Rahman shared a picture with
Ennio Morricone, seemingly even gifting the maestro his autobiography. He wrote, “What an honor to speak about ....one of my most favorite composer Maestro Ennio Morricone.

The Sapienza University of Rome had invited AR Rahman, Dante Ferreti and Francesca Lo Schiavo to be present at the ceremony where Ennino was bestowed with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Rahman also apologised to the students of the university and wrote, “Dear students of @SapienzaRoma I was very happy to see you in the campus Sorry for not posing for photographs as I had to catch the 10 pm flight... Wishing you the best... become world class in whatever you do.” (sic)
While rumours have also been doing rounds that the '2.0' music composer met
Prabhas too during his trip there, neither Prabhas nor him have posted anything about the same on their social media. Rahman had recently also met Stevie Wonder in Los Angeles.
