Praneeth Yaron’s upcoming film ‘Sita on the Road’, starring Khatera Hakimi, Kalpika Ganesh, Gayathri Gupta, Nesa Farhadi and Uma Lingaiah in lead roles, released the ‘soul’ of the film.
Titled ‘The Soul of Sita on the Road’, the beautiful melody that is called ‘Urumunai Ne Meravana’ is composed and penned by Praneeth Yaron and crooned by Sai Prajwalatha. However, instead of commenting on how good the song is, many comment under the video protesting against using the word Sita in the title.
The same holds true for the comments under the trailer too. Many also use the tag ‘wake up Hindus’ urging others to protest against the name.
‘Sita on the Road’ charts the stories of five young women who have gone through difficulties in life and decide to go on a road-trip together. The director even reportedly said that the five women in the film are inspired from the various women and incidents he has come across in life. The film was reportedly shot over two years at Karnataka and Goa.
