NEW DELHI: Social media influencers Ranveer Allahbadia and Apoorva Mukhija appeared before the national commission for women (NCW) on Thursday regarding offensive comments made during Samay Raina's programme "India's Got Latent".
According to news agency PTI, sources said that they expressed regret about the incident.
The show's producers, Saurabh Bothra and Tushar Poojari, along with legal representatives of comedian Jaspreet Singh and YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani, also attended the hearing. Each person appeared separately before the Commission, with Allahbadia and Mukhija facing extensive questioning.

The commission has taken serious note of the vulgar and offensive remarks made by Allahbadia, Makhija, Raina, Jaspreet Singh and Ashish Chanchlani during the programme, leading to their summons alongside Poojari and Bothra.
Multiple police complaints were registered against Allahbadia, known professionally as BeerBiceps, regarding his comment on parents and sex on Raina's programme.
The Supreme Court, while describing his comments as "vulgar" and noting his "dirty mind" that brought disgrace to society, has provided Allahbadia temporary protection from arrest regarding his statements on the programme.
