WHAT IT IS: A hairstyle that involves having two sets of hair braids.
HOW IT STARTED: The trend really picked up when actress Diane Kruger sported a style in which she had two French braids – a loose braid tied low, and a smaller, tighter braid within the first one — which was created by Kylee Heath.
HOW IT’S DONE: When Kylee styled Diane’s hair, she sectioned off the front half of the hair — everything from the ear back for the bottom braid.

Then create a tight cornrow, pulling the new strands under, not over, and secure them with a clear elastic band. Then, release the front half of the hair and create a loose braid over the first.
