How to obtain Blightwood in RuneScape Dragonwilds

Blightwood isn’t your usual log in RuneScape Dragonwilds. It is rare, hidden, and protected by the fiercest of nature. Unlike the normal Ash Logs scattered all over the early zones, Blightwood grows only in one spot, and reaching there takes guts, gear, and obviously good planning.
Then what’s so special about this? First of all, it is located near the edge of Bloodblight Swamp-a venomous zone that lies to the right of Bramblemead Valley. It is a Level 3 area, so there is danger in every corner-from toxic creatures to unfriendly beasts that stay near swamp edges. But the risk is worth it to the brave adventurer.
Blightwood's harvest should be done by quite a preparation. First, set a Lodestone or the newer type between the swamp entrance and the fractured plains. With this, you can fast-travel and spare yourself the ease of walking all the way back through Fractured Plains . Lodestones are very important in Dragonwilds in this kind of situation. It's best to place one near the swamp's edge, close to the Blightwood Roots yet just outside the poison's reach.


Now you will need the correct axe. A normal stone Axe won't do good job on Blightwood. So, you will want the Bronze Axe, which is made from Bronze Bars, Ash Logs, and Coarse Thread. Some farming may be needed for this, yet it is an important tool for you if there are any hopes of surviving the swamp with some loot.
