LeBron James looked disappointed when he sat for the post-match press conference after the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves and were eliminated from the Western Conference semi-finals. However, his eyes lit up when he was asked about getting the opportunity to play alongside his son Bronny James on the same team. He also rightfully took credit for Bronny being a “great kid,” which he said anyone could confirm with his teammates or coach.

LeBron James was a very proud dad when he was asked about playing with Bronny on the same team. They are the only father-son duo to play together on the same team in the entire NBA. When LeBron was asked what ranking he would give to playing alongside his son, he promptly answered, “Number one for sure. That's easy. That's not even close. To be able to play the game that I love and to be able to along my son this whole year has been one of the most gratifying, satisfying journeys I've ever been on."
Sharing more, he added, "Just to see his growth from the moment he was drafted when we were all in New York at the draft party to seeing him in summer league struggle early on ... and pick it up towards the end. I just saw he has a bright future because not only can he play the game of basketball, he's just a great kid. And you can ask anybody, any one of his teammates, any one of the coaches. Just a joy to be around, and I have to say that I have a lot to do with that."

Coming to LeBron James’ latest match, he scored a decent 22 points, but that wasn’t enough for the Los Angeles Lakers to save themselves from elimination. This was despite Luka Dončić joining the team and contributing 28 points in the final Game 5. The Timberwolves defeated the Lakers 103-96 at the latter’s home ground, Crypto.com Arena.

Soon after, speculations around LeBron James’ retirement were fueled by media reports. The NBA star has said he will see what is to be done.
