Report reported by ESPN’s Adam Schefter through his Instagram account on Monday, March 17, that the quarterback is going to be Cam Ward of the Miami Hurricanes.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter speaking to NFL Live said, “It certainly seems like there's a mounting consensus that Cam Ward is going to be the No. 1 pick.”
Cam Ward met the New Orleans Saints last month and shared his experience after winning the Manning Award. He said, “I loved watching Drew Brees and [Marques] Colston out there.”
Speaking to a news daily, Ward said on Monday night, “It would be a dream of mine to play for them, if I get a chance some day. But that's not really my focus right now.”
While speaking about his preparation for the draft and meeting the head coach Kellen Moore he said, “If you get a chance to go play for a Super Bowl-winning coach like Coach Moore. He knows how to dial up the playbook.”
“The biggest thing I took away from that meeting was that you just have to be prepared at all times, whether you go in as a starter or you go in as a backup. You never know when your number is going to be called,” Ward further shared.
