Travis Kelce didn’t go for anything drastic, and that says a lot. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, fresh off a
Super Bowl loss, hit up his longtime barber Vince Garcia over the weekend, keeping things tight on the sides but leaving the top untouched. A fade. Clean. Sharp. Nothing wild.
Garcia posted a video of the session, Kelce draped in a Chiefs-themed cape, grinning as he got the fresh trim. The barber, who's been Kelce’s go-to for years, made sure the tight end stuck with the look he’s been rocking since he got together with
Taylor Swift.
"Always good catching up with my brother @killatrav," Garcia wrote on Instagram. "
Glad you running it back next season fam, you def one of the best TE to ever play the game."
This wasn’t just a haircut. It was a statement. Kelce isn’t retiring. He confirmed his return for a 13th NFL season in a text to Pat McAfee last week, shutting down speculation that he might step away after Kansas City’s failed three-peat bid. He’s not done yet. And, apparently, neither is his barber.
Travis Kelce spends $3 million on a Kansas City home for foster youth through his 87 & Running Foundation
Kelce doesn’t just play in Kansas City. He’s putting money into the city, too. The tight end just dropped $3.3 million on a house—not for himself, but for young adults aging out of the foster system.
Through his nonprofit, 87 & Running Foundation, Kelce is turning the 6,500-square-foot property into a transitional home for youth who need support. Six bedrooms. Five bathrooms. A big kitchen. Outside, there’s a patio, a fire pit, and gardens. Inside, a game room and study spaces. It’s not just a place to sleep—it’s a shot at stability.
"
This new home will offer more than just a place to stay—it will be a place where youth can build their independence and focus on a brighter future," a press release from California-based nonprofit Foster Love stated.
Kelce’s been in Kansas City for over a decade, and he’s making sure he leaves a mark beyond football. His foundation’s mission? "
Empower disadvantaged youth to achieve success by providing resources and support to their communities." And it’s working.
The NFL took notice, nominating Kelce for the 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year award. He didn’t win—Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Arik Armstead took the honor—but the nomination alone says enough. The Chiefs made sure to recognize their guy.
"
You know him for what he does on Sundays, but his efforts reach further than the football field," the Kansas City Chiefs wrote on Instagram. "
Thank you for all that you do @killatrav [hand heart emoji]."
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are reportedly looking at homes together, fueling engagement speculation
The $3.3 million house wasn’t for him, but Kelce might be in the market for something else—this time, with Taylor Swift. The couple, who have been together since 2023, are reportedly discussing buying a home together.
"
When they have time, they want to look at real estate," a source told
Us Weekly. The report also claims they’ve talked about "
exploring buying a home together."
Swifties have been on high alert, picking apart every detail for engagement hints. Kelce hasn’t commented, but the whispers are getting louder. New house? New chapter? Maybe. Maybe not. But if Kelce and Swift do end up making a big move, it won’t stay a secret for long.
